Q. Is SW NAHRO canceling / postponing the 2021 Annual Conference?
A. At SW NAHRO, remain proactive when it comes to maintaining the safety and health of our members and the communities they serve and will always will be our highest priority.
We’re closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and reviewing all updates from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the U.S. Department of State. As we look to the coming weeks and months, taking to heart what global experts predict this virus will do and how it will spread, we feel it’s our responsibility to our members, employees, and the general public to make a fundamental change to the format of our Annual Conference this year.
For 2021, our biggest annual event will become 100 percent virtual utilizing our Digital Connection platform, which is already in place, making this our first ever Virtual Annual Conference.

Q. Am I able to download the content from the Virtual Annual Conference platform?
A. Attendees will be able to access downloadable PDFs, video content and session PowerPoint presentations.
Q. When can I expect the content to be available on the Virtual Annual Conference platform?
A. Content such as PDFs, PowerPoints, and video will be available periodically throughout and following the event.
Q. How long will the content be available after the Virtual Annual Conference platform?
A. The content will be available until June 2022.
Q. Are the dates and hours of convention workshops and general session staying the same?
A. The Virtual Annual Conference agenda in its entirety is currently under review. We’ll release more information as the aspects of our new virtual platform are solidified.
