SECTION 8 HOUSING MANAGER

The Housing Authority of the City of Las Cruces and Doña Ana County (HACLC) is accepting applications for a SECTION 8 HOUSING MANAGER. Responsible for administration, organization, and management of Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Programs (approximately 1,500 vouchers). Requirements include minimum of three (3) years of related experience, two (2) years of leadership/management experience and 60 hours of undergraduate coursework (or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the job).

Excellent work ethic, professional demeanor, computer skills and communication skills required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Starting annual salary is $42,164. HACLC provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, term life insurance and retirement.

Community and Supportive Services Case Management and Relocation Tracking Software. The Housing Authority of the City of Texarkana, TX (HATT) is seeking written Proposals for Community and Supportive Services (CSS) Case Management and / or Relocation Tracking Software from qualified firms to provide case management and/or relocation software products and services for the Authority over the next four years.

The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to define the general specifications for the professional services required and to set guidelines for selection Proposals from perspective offerors for CSS Case Management and / or Relocation Tracking Software shall be due no later than Friday, February 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. (CST). REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO

Amendment No. 1 - RFP No. HOUSING AUTHORITY OF ST. LOUIS COUNTY, MO - ASLC-08-P-11 - DUE: 02/13/09. Computer Consultant Services. The purpose of this amendment is to make administrative changes. This change is made pursuant to the provisions of the proposal Attachment A, form HUD-5369-B (Instructions to Offerors Non-Construction), paragraph 3 (Amendments to Solicitations).

1. Proposal submittal deadline: The deadline of January 30, 2009 by 3:30PM local time is to be changed. The new deadline will be February 13, 2009 by 3:30PM local time.

2. Evaluation: The evaluation beginning February 2, 2009 is to be changed. The new evaluation beginning will be February 16, 2009.

3. Award Contract: The contract award date of April 13, 2009 is to be changed.

HOPE VI DIRECTOR
TEXARKANA, TX
Under the general direction of the executive director, the HOPE VI director is responsible for the oversight and management of the HOPE VI grant award to the Housing Authority of Texarkana, Texas (HATT). The HOPE VI director is responsible for monitoring all grant activities to assure the physical and supportive service revitalization activities are programmed, planned and executed properly within budgetary constraints aimed to ensure that all grant requirements are met.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; 1) monitors the expenditures of funds to ensure compliance with implementation schedule, HUD guidelines and other funding sources; 2) recommend revisions as necessary; 3) works closely with developer, program manager, consultant and legal counsel to ensure timely and cost effective implementation; 4) Strategize and coordinate with peers and direct reports to make sure that programmatic issues with respect to the development and operations adequately addressed and 5) Supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned staff.

Knowledge, skills and abilities to include, but not limited to the following; 1) Proven expertise in the HOPE VI Program and /or Public Housing Program and / or Public Housing Modernization (Capital Fund) Program and / or Housing Development Programs and / or the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program or Bond Programs; 2) proven ability in administering federally funded programs; 3) Ability in utilization of computer software programs, especially, Word, Excel and Power Point and 5) Proven ability to communicate effectively and clearly in writing and orally.

Educational and experience levels include that the applicant must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in urban planning, business, public administration, real estate development or construction management or other related field with five (5) years of practical experience or A master’s degree in real estate, city or regional planning, business, finance, public policy, architecture and four (4) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Four to five (4-5) years of progressive responsible work experience in grant development and management or contract administration. One to two (1-2) years of supervisory experience. Salary is $60,000 with benefits based upon experience. Must pass criminal history and drug screen; and possess valid drivers’ license. Resumes will not be accepted without a completed application.
